Arc of Dreams Groundbreaking

On September 28 our own Mike Costanzo emceed the groundbreaking of the Arc of Dreams, the five-story stainless steel sculpture, designed by sculptor and South Dakota Artist Laureate Dale Lamphere.

Through your generous giving to our Centennial Fund last year, Downtown Rotary provided a $50,000 donation, a gift which will be memorialized on a quartzite pillar wrapped in stainless steel, etched with donor names and illuminated.
This massive stainless steel sculpture will span across the Big Sioux River downtown nearly the length of a football field between 6th and 8th streets. At the center of the Arc of Dreams is a 15-foot gap, 70 feet above the river, representing the leap of faith dreamers take to see their dreams come true.
