June 24
Weekly Meeting
America's Story Presented by Jeff Gould & Downtown Rotary's Annual General Meeting
On Monday, June 24th, we’ll prepare for the upcoming Independence Day holiday by sharing the remarkable story of America, as only Jeff Gould can tell it. Uplifting, touching and profound, it is a presentation that will inspire listeners to consider the sacrifice and blessing of our nation’s history. It will remind all Americans of our gifts, responsibilities, challenges and opportunities as Americans.
This will also be the annual meeting of our Downtown Rotary club. President Eric Ellefson will take a look back on this past year and celebrate those who made it all possible. The new slate of officers for 2024-2025 will be elected and the gavel will pass to President-Elect, Kurt Loudenback to share his vision for the next twelve months.
The buffet lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 am. The
menu will be Tailgater: Grilled Burgers and Pulled Pork with Buns, House-made potato chips w/French onion dip, Country style potato salad, Honey baked beans, Tossed Salad, Fresh Fruit and Dessert. RSVP and online payment is required by 5 pm on Wednesday, June 19th. If you miss the deadline, please still join us for Rotary, but lunch may not be available.
The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the Holiday Inn City Centre, Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
