Weekly Meeting

Access to Healthcare

As Sioux Falls grows, ensuring all residents have access to the healthcare they need grows in importance. Sioux Falls is fortunate to have wonderful medical systems in the city, as well as other organizations who work to ensure residents can secure the medical care and resources they need to lead healthier lives. Rotarian Dr. Dan Heinemann will moderate a panel that brings together three organizations working to help Sioux Falls residents access healthcare. The panel will feature Mike Turner (Owen’s Outfitters), Christopher Montgomery (Project Car), and Dr. Bob Santella (Midwest Street Medicine).

The buffet lunch begins at 11:30 am. The menu will be: Reubens & Rachels

  • Reuben: corned beef (braised over night), sauerkraut, gruyere/fontina blend, Russian dressing, pumpernickel rye
  • Rachel: smoked turkey, gruyere/fontina blend, fresh coleslaw (has crunch), 1000 island dressing, marble rye
  • “German Fries”: pan-fried red potatoes with rosemary & caramelized onions, chives
  • Fresh Fruit

The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance in Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy.
