Employee Stock Ownership Plans – The (Not So) New Way of Selling Your Business
Many business owners struggle with how to transition the ownership of their legacy. One method that is growing in popularity is an ESOP. Our June 3rd program will feature local businesses that have successfully navigated through the process as well as experts who have helped companies frame up their ESOP strategies. Joining our panel will be: Tony Bour, former CEO/Owner of Showplace; Greg Sands & Jared Swenson, Sands Drywall; and Tom Madison from Eide Bailly, who is an expert on ESOPs. President-Elect Kurt Loudenback will moderate the conversation.
The buffet lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 am. The
menu will be Summer BBQ – Charred baby back ribs, Baked Monterey Mac’N’Chz, Stewed Okra (Okra/corn/tomatoes stewed with herbs and spices), Tossed Salad, Fresh Fruit and Dessert. RSVP and online payment is required by 5 pm on Wednesday, May 29th. If you miss the deadline, please still join us for Rotary, but lunch may not be available.
The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the Holiday Inn City Centre, Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
