Weekly Meeting
Keeping South Dakota Fed

On Monday, October 27th Rotarian Lori Dykstra, CEO of Feeding South Dakota, will be joined on stage by Pastor Chris Matson with Church on the Street, and Stasia Elsinger a Dietician at Avera who will share her lived experience with hunger as a college student. Rotarian Barry Sackett will moderate a conversation that cover the past of South Dakota food insecurity which lead to the innovative founding of Feeding South Dakota 50 years ago, the present of state of the mission to provide food in times with increasing food prices and decreasing governmental support and a look to the future solutions in a call to action.
The buffet lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 am. The menu will be: Meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn and salad bar.
The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance in Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
