Healthcare Series: Part 1 – SD Healthcare Challenges, Opportunities, & Policy

Exploring the pressing challenges facing the state’s healthcare system—including workforce shortages, access disparities, rural health sustainability, and the future of Medicaid expansion—while also highlighting key opportunities for innovation, collaboration, and policy reform. Rotarian Joni Ekstrum will moderate a panel featuring South Dakota Department of Health Secretary Melissa Magstadt; Tim Rave, CEO of South Dakota Association of Healthcare Organizations; and Rotarian and South Dakota Representative Erin Healy.

The buffet lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 am. The menu will be: Hot Beef Sandwich, Vegetable and salad bar.

The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance in Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
