Healthcare Series: Part 2 – Developing Healthcare Providers for the Next Generation in SD

Rotarian Dr. Dan Heinenmann will moderate a conversation with current medical students who are all at various stages of their medical training. We will discuss the education avenues available to students looking to enter the medical field in South Dakota, how our local healthcare systems work to attract and retain medical students, and what medical students are looking for as they progress in their training. Panelists are: Max Brown MS2, Tiffany Knecht MS3, Lexi Job MS4, and Gavin Bowman MD PGY1.

The buffet lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 am. The menu will be: Grilled Salmon or Baked Chicken Thigh, Rice, Veggie, and salad bar.

The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance in Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
