Riverline District & Events Center Complex Update

In 2023, several Sioux Falls community leaders identified an opportunity to maximize the use of riverfront land on the southeastern edge of Downtown Sioux Falls. With its proximity to the river, the bike trail, the Whittier neighborhood, and a growing and prospering downtown, this property was identified as having much greater potential for vibrancy and long-term impact for the Sioux Falls region.

Plan to join us Monday, February 12th as we share the vision for the future of the Riverline District and Events Center Complex. You’ll hear from Mayor Paul TenHaken, Natalie Eisenberg, Co-Chair of Friends of the Riverline, and Reggie Kuipers, Vice-Chair of Events Center Complex Advisory Board. Our program will be moderated by Rotarian Tony Nour.

The buffet lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 am. The menu will be: Super Bowl Party- Swedish meatballs, spinach dip with chips/bread, French onion potato skins, BBQ dry rub boneless wings, steakhouse potato salad, coleslaw and cookies. RSVP and online payment is required by 5 pm on Wednesday, February 7th. If you miss the deadline, please still join us for Rotary, but lunch will not be available.

The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the Holiday Inn City Centre, Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
