Creating Lasting Impact: School of St. Jude

Downtown Rotarians are creating lasting impact by supporting the School of St. Jude in Tanzania. The School of St. Jude is a pioneering leader in charitable education within Africa. They provide free, quality education to 1,800 bright primary and secondary students who come from considerably poor backgrounds. Our club's sponsored student, Victor, is in his final year of secondary school and will sit for the national exams this year.

School of St. Jude Founder Gemma Sisia will be at Rotary on Monday, October 26th to give us an update on the school's progress and ongoing work to lift children and their families out of poverty through the gift of education.

The buffet lunch begins at 11:30 am. The menu will be announced soon.

The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the South Dakota Military Heritage Alliance in Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
