The Changing Landscape of Athletics

The July 31 program will take a look at the state of athletics with South Dakota's flagship universities. USD Athletic Director David Herbster & SDSU Athletic Director Justin Sell will join Rotarian Joel Dykstra to discuss a variety of topics changing the landscape of athletics including: players’ ability to profit from their name, image and likeness, the transfer portal, and conference alignments.

The buffet lunch will be available beginning at 11:30 am. The menu will be: Grilled Burgers and Brats, Mac and Cheese, Baked Beans, Tossed Salad and Dessert. RSVP is not required.

The presentation, at the club’s regular weekly meeting, will be held at the Holiday Inn City Centre, Sioux Falls and will begin at noon. All Downtown Sioux Falls Rotary Club programs are open only to Rotarians and their guests. All programs are subject to the club's Privacy Policy. Local media are invited to attend to record the session.
