The Rise of Downtown

It took 50 years, generations of city leaders and millions of dollars in public and private investment to make downtown Sioux Falls what it is today – the crown jewel of the city and with the promise of even more development. The future looks very bright! On Monday, May 1, join us at the Orpheum Theater as Rotarian Regan Smith takes a short step back to discuss how we got here and the challenges overcome to make it happen with former Sioux Falls Mayor Dave Munson; Mike Cooper, Retired Planning Director for the City of Sioux Falls and Joe Batcheller, President of Downtown Sioux Falls.

Pre-ordered boxed lunches will be available beginning at 11:30 am. Lunches must be pre-ordered by 5 pm on Friday, April 28th. You may choose between turkey, ham, roast beef, or vegetarian, and includes chips or pasta salad, and a cookie.
